About

A response to real
social challenges

The Young Tee CIC is being established in response to growing social, economic, and generational challenges. While official statistics focus on unemployment figures, lived experience at grassroots level reveals something deeper — many young people are disengaged from traditional work models, lack motivation, or feel excluded from viable opportunities.

At the same time, society is rapidly shifting toward digital-first work, remote employment, and AI-led innovation. The CIC exists to help people not just survive this shift — but thrive because of it.

WHO WE SERVE

Young people disengaged from education or employment · Individuals reliant on welfare with limited pathways · Vulnerable adults lacking digital skills or confidence · School-age children ready to discover their potential.

Our Vision

To create an inclusive, supportive environment where young people and vulnerable groups are empowered to build confidence, develop practical digital and life skills, and move from dependency to independence — creating sustainable pathways into work, enterprise, or further learning.

Our Mission

To use technology, digital skills, and AI-enabled tools to engage young people early, re-engage those disengaged from education or employment, provide mentoring and real-world examples, and encourage self-employment, innovation, and adaptable career thinking.

Our Approach

Meet people where they are. Reframe existing interests — gaming, online activity, content creation — into viable, marketable skills. Demonstrate how technology reduces barriers. Involve mentors who’ve built careers through non-traditional routes.

Four strategic
focus areas

Discover our impactful programs designed to build skills, confidence, and independence.

Early Intervention

Working with schools and education providers to introduce age-appropriate digital literacy, coding, and creative technology. Encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and confidence from a young age.

Youth & Vulnerable Adults

Engagement through Job Centers, supported accommodation, and community partners. Supporting those who feel traditional 9–5 roles are inaccessible. Reframing existing interests into viable, income-generating skills.

Technology & AI as Enablers

Demonstrating how technology reduces barriers to work — remote working, online enterprise, AI tools. Practical exposure to AI and digital tools as everyday resources, not abstract concepts.

Mentorship & Role Models

Involving individuals who have successfully built careers or businesses through non-traditional routes. Guest speakers, mentors, and lived-experience case studies that prove what’s possible.

Talent exists everywhere,
but opportunity does not.”

By combining technology, mentorship, and community insight, the Young Tee Foundation aims to provide practical answers to complex social challenges — starting early and building for the future.
